Dr. Romaldas Antanavičius, engineer at EKSPLA, received the LINPRA 30th Anniversary Engineer Award. This prestigious recognition is a special lifetime achievement award established on the occasion of LINPRA’s 30th anniversary. Dr. Romaldas has made significant contributions in various areas, including being involved with both finalists for the Prism (referred to as the “Oscar of the laser industry”), one of which emerged as the winner. Additionally, he played a role in the development of the PhotoSonus laser system, which aids in the fight against cancer. Romaldas serves as an excellent example of how a profound understanding of a subject combined with a creative approach can lead to remarkable outcomes.
It is worth noting that only two other engineers were awarded alongside Romaldas from a pool of numerous candidates. Furthermore, we would like to take this opportunity to mention that we recently published an interview conducted by Anželika Giedra Voinė.
