Ultra-high intensity applications

Ultra-high intensity lasers drive high harmonic generation and attosecond science, ultrafast X-ray research, fusion diagnostics and laser-driven particle acceleration. OPCPA-based systems reach peak powers above 15 TW with sub-8 fs pulses at 1 kHz repetition rate, while picosecond and nanosecond amplifiers deliver joule-level pulse energies.

OPCPA seeding

A spectrally broadened all-in-fiber oscillator seeds both the picosecond DPSS pump amplifier and the white-light continuum generator of a compact wavelength-tunable femtosecond OPCPA system. Seed and pump are synchronized by design, and the all-parametric amplification chain supports high temporal contrast of the output pulses.
